Lapis Lazuli Rough from Afghanistan

Lapis Lazuli slabs cut easily and polish well with tin or chrome oxide, with a tiny bit of aluminum oxide type A mixed in. In order to obtain a higher polish, it can be given a final polish with Zam or waxed. Lapis usually has pyrite in it.
