Red Jasper with Hematite Slabs from Arizona

This Red Jasper with Hematite was found outside of Jerome, Arizona. This material has been fracture sealed with a two part epoxy as it is somewhat fragile. The stones cut from this material have great, bright red colors banded with sparkly Hematite that makes it pop. It varies in hardness as the Jasper is much harder than the Hematite, but will cut relatively easily and polishes nicely with diamond or tin oxide.
