Seraphinite Slabs from Russia
Seraphinite is also known as clinoclore, or clinoclor, and is green in color. It is chatoyant material and cuts exciting and unusual stones. To get slabs and cabs that display the chatoyance, cut parallel to the fibrous plane. It cuts easily and polishes with tin or cerium oxide, diamond or green rouge. Mohs Hardness 2 to 2.5.
