Nacozari Turquoise Slabs (Stabilized) from Mexico - $2.00/gram
If you love blue Turquoise, then you have probably heard of the Nacozari mine. It is located in Sonora, Mexico. It used to produce copper, and has been closed for well over a decade. Back when the mine was producing, the man who collected this gleaned the very best from tons of natural material. As it became more rare, it was further high-graded. And we now have these slabs available here on our Copper Canoyon website!
Being turquoise is a copper-based mineral (hydrated copper aluminum phosphate), it polishes well with diamond, tin oxide or green rouge.
