Ocean Jasper cabochons are made of material from Madagascar, in a silicified rhyolite flow off the northwest coast. It is a variety of chalcedony. Ocean Jasper is named for both its location and resemblance to sea foam: imagine clusters of bubbles emerging from waves that recede upon the shore. They displays patterns, swirls, orbs and an array of lovely hues. Colors range from green, gray, white, cream, beige, brown, peach, pink and dark red.
