Sonoran Blue Turquoise slabs are cut from a material that comes from a small “hobby” mine near Cananea, Sonora, Mexico. It has a fine medium-light blue color with pyrite matrix.
Turquoise is a copper-based mineral (hydrated copper aluminum phosphate). Turquoise polishes well with diamond, tin oxide or green rouge.
